Domain registration & renewal services

SonnetUK offer domain registration and renewal services at very competitive prices.

Every domain registered through us belongs to the registrant, not SonnetUK. Domains are registered in the customer's name, and all admin contact details for the domain are set to the customer's preferences - if requested, we are happy to act as any contact other than the registrant on your behalf.

If the domain you wanted is already registered to somebody else, or you cannot think of a suitable domain name for you or your business/organisation, please don't hesitate to contact us for advice.

Please see the table below for the domain extensions we can register and renew, the minimum registration length for each extension and the cost per registration/renewal period.

Registration & Renewal Fees

Please contact us for more information and to order. Registration* of the requested domain name is usually completed within 2 hours of your payment being received.

Domain transfers

If you have already registered your domain(s) elsewhere but would like to transfer your domain to us to take advantage of our prices, please contact us for information on the steps you need to take to transfer your domain(s) to us.

There is a £8.99 transfer-in fee for .com/net/org/biz/info domains, as per industry standard this adds one year of registration to the expiration date of the domain.

The transfer-in fee for .co.uk/org.uk/me.uk domains is £6.99 to cover the fee we are charged, this does not add any time to the registration period as *.uk domains can only be registered for 2 years at a time.

To transfer domains away from us, simply follow the instructions that will be issued by your new registrar. We do not charge a fee to release domains for transfer and are happy to make any necessary changes to IPSTags and so on as requested.

Notes:

* Customers are responsible for checking the availability of their chosen domain name prior to ordering. SonnetUK will not be held responsible if the requested domain name is already registered.

** Customers are also responsible for checking the spelling and extension of the requested domain. SonnetUK will not be held responsible for spelling or syntax errors in your domain name.

All domain registration, renewal and transfer fees are non-refundable. Please take care when ordering domains!
